Rating & Reviews
The Garden was a bit smaller then expected. It was very beautiful and gave us nice shade during a very hot day but overall I would say it's a bit overrated. I'm glad I could visit but I'm not sure I would go back there again if I'm in Marrakesh. Don't take it wrong, it was trully beautiful, and I saw many huge plants I'd never before but for the price I paid for it, I wouldn't say it was worth it.
Beautiful gardens. Book early and arrive early as q is big and you get pushed around quickly by the guards. No flexibility of how to look around.
The city was amazing, loved our riad. Food options were great too. The worst part was Marrakesh airport - 1.5 hours to exit the airport and an unbelievable 2.5 hours to get through to the terminal. And you have to get your boarding pass printed off too before you fly home and then even if just taking cabin bags, still wait in the baggage check in to get the boarding pass stamped : (
Beautiful scenery allowing for a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with great picture opportunities.
The garden itself is beautiful. The wait time to get in was quite long so would recommend getting there before your allocated time. However once inside the garden is not too crowded and has many lovely spots to take pictures. The colours are incredibly calming and the energy of the place is peaceful
The gardens are very beautiful but it has to be said that the title is misleading. The ticket you buy here is indeed for just the gardens so if you want to visit the Berber museum you should get another ticket. The problem is that because it says “optional” I thought I was gonna be able to buy it anyway. Instead you can’t because this is not the official website so the only solution is to buy another entry ticket to the garden with the extra fee for the museum. If it says optional I’d presume you can pay extra for the museum but it’s in fact impossible. Very disappointing we missed the museum.
In general, good. The bus was confortable and on time. The only minor: the driver speaking sometimes on the phone, while driving. But, in general, safe and with 2 stops along the way.
The garden was amazing so worth a visit, but the museum not so all the information was in French with no translation and this was disappointing
The Jardin Majorelle were absolutely worth the visit. Wonderful, vibrant colours and architecture! Quite disappointed by the YSL museum, I was a expecting a lot more than just a few dresses and a short film.
